So who are the men behind the famous This is It! BBQ & Seafood sign that we all love so much?

We caught up with Shelley "Butch" Anthony - Father and Founder, President and CEO of This is It! BBQ and Seafood Restaurants. Here's what he had to say!

How do you want people to feel when they walk into a This Is It! BBQ?

We want them to feel welcomed, appreciated, and special. We also want them to feel that they made the right choice for dinner!

What is your philosophy on service?

We value our customers. Our aim is to create a welcoming atmosphere where every customer knows they are important and have our respect.

You named your company Jesus & Butch, Inc. How come?

For me, Jesus is 1^st, The Alpha & Omega, The Beginning and The End and I am second. I look to him for direction in the business and all that I do. I treasure the scripture, Matthew 6:33 that encourages us to seek Him first.

Where will you find your employees on a Sunday?

Hopefully at church and with their families. I promised the Lord in 1997 that if He would make our business work, we would work 6 days a week allowing our our employees to attend church on Sunday and be with their families. Today we have only one location which opened in 1989 that is still open on Sunday. I am believing that we will be able to close this location on Sunday as well, allowing those employees the same opportunity.
